The Design Process
The first stage and really the most important part is the design brief, we need to gain an understanding of both your project requirements and your corporate identity. It is also a good point to discuss hosting related topics at this stage. We will need to know before we start what programming languages and server technologies your existing hosting company provides.
This is most relevant if we are discussing database driven sites, although even the more basic information sites can often use various programming languages and server technologies when incorporating enquiry forms, search facilities, guest books etc. Alternatively, if you prefer, Magellan Design can host your site on one of our servers.
So now with an understanding of your online business objectives, we can put forward our initial design concepts for approval, once agreed we begin to add structure and functionality to your website. We give you access to view the site during construction, so you can track it's progresses in real time.
